Detailed information

The Spiralus zone sampler ensures representative all-layer samples thanks to its spiral-shaped sampling slots. The Spiralus zone sampler takes a zone-accurate all-layer sample through all layers of the bulk material. The spiral-shaped opening of the sample slots, which open with a time delay from bottom to top, enables the Spiralus to take a layer-accurate and representative sample. The special design of the Spiralus prevents grain cutting and ensures excellent stratification reproduction when sampling from coarse-grained bulk materials.

The light weight of the Spiralus makes it easy to handle and use in different environments. With open handle for easy emptying of the mixed sample.

Typical application area of the product

The Spiralus zone sampler is primarily used in the agricultural industry to sample grain and pellets from silos, warehouses or directly from means of transport such as trucks and railway wagons. It is also valuable in the food industry and materials management where coarse grained products need to be checked for quality and homogeneity.

How to use the product
  1. Turn the handle of the all-layer sampler clockwise, it is now closed and can be pierced into the powder/granulate.
  2. At the desired depth, turn the handle of the collector counterclockwise, the collection chambers are opened and filled with sample.
  3. By turning the handle clockwise again, the collector is closed again and can be removed from the powder/granulate.
  4. Turn the all-layer collector upside down and empty the all-layer sample through the opening in the handle into a suitable collecting vessel.
