The Vampire sampler makes it easy to extract liquids from greater depths.

The portable sample pump consists of a self-contained drive unit, a pump head and a delivery tube. The medium to be sampled is fed directly into the sample container via the closed tubing system. The sample only comes into contact with the tubing and the sample bottle. This eliminates the risk of impurities and contamination as the tubing is easy to clean and replace if necessary.

The self-priming peristaltic pump is also suitable for contaminated or particulate substances with a viscosity of max. 500 mPas. The sample is not altered by the gentle pumping action. With a suction depth of 5 metres, the battery-operated Vampir sampler can easily pump from deeper sampling points such as barrels, tanks, wells, water separators, waste water and sewage treatment plants.

The portable sampler is handy and easy to transport. The pump attachment is simply attached to the drive unit and the tubes can be changed quickly. The sample bottle is attached directly to the sampler via a bottle basket.

Typical application area of the product

The peristaltic pump is ideal for sampling liquids in industrial process control in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries where it is important to take samples from drums, tanks or other containers to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards; in environmental and water analysis for taking water samples from wells, streams, aquifers and other water sources to check water quality and for environmental studies; in wastewater and sewage treatment plants for monitoring and analysing wastewater samples directly from treatment plants, sewers, reservoirs or water separators.

How to use the product
  1. Insert the pump hose into the pump head.
  2. Cut the suction hose to the required length and attach it to the pump hose using the hose connector.
  3. Secure the bottle cage with the clamping device.
  4. Place the sample bottle in the bottle cage.
  5. Insert the pump tube approx. 1 - 3 cm into the sample bottle.
  6. Insert the pump attachment into the holder of the drive unit.
  7. Set the speed selector to 1 (low speed range).
  8. Immerse the suction tube in the sample liquid.
  9. Press the on/off switch to take the sample.
  10. Release the on/off switch to end sampling.
