The OTAL® battery pump is a flexible pump with hose, tap and discharge nozzle. Unlike conventional pumps, there is no need to place or hold the container under the discharge elbow. Instead, the flexible 1.5 metre hose can simply be placed on the container, allowing greater flexibility in positioning the container.

The OTAL® battery pump is equipped with a flexible PVC discharge hose, a PP/PE stopcock and a PE dosing nozzle. The delivery tubes are made of PP. The discharge hose can be shortened or replaced if necessary.

The stopcock allows good dosing. It also prevents the liquid from running on unintentionally.

The pump is particularly suitable for filling car batteries with acid or distilled water.

OTAL® hand and foot pumps are compact universal pumps for filling and transferring from containers and drums. Established on the market for more than 70 years, the pumps are known for their ease of use in daily applications.

The drum and container pumps operate on the air-over-pressure principle. This means that only the delivery tubes come into contact with the liquid, ensuring broad chemical resistance. Depending on the model, the tubes are made of PE, PP, PVDF or stainless steel. This allows a wide range of liquids to be pumped quickly and easily.

To ensure correct operation, the pumps must be mounted in an airtight container. Repeated actuation of the pump ball creates an overpressure in the container which drives the liquid out of the container through the delivery tube. The liquid flow is pulsation-free and uniform and can be stopped immediately via the vent valve without any after-running.

OTAL® hand and foot pumps are extremely robust, durable and of outstanding quality. They can be used to transfer and fill acids, alkalis and aqueous solutions from larger containers to smaller ones easily and cost-effectively.

The universal plug allows the pump to be used with all common containers without the need for a threaded connection.

The telescopic immersion tube is height adjustable and can be shortened if necessary. This ensures optimum residual emptying so that filling can be carried out from 220 litre drums as well as smaller canisters.

OTAL® hand and foot pumps are a practical and reliable solution for filling and transferring liquids. Their high quality, universal applicability and ease of use make them the perfect choice for everyday use.

The compact design and universal applicability make the pumps a practical solution for filling and transferring small quantities of water, oils, acids, alkalis and liquid foodstuffs up to a viscosity of approx. 500 mPas.

Designed for use with automotive batteries, the OTAL® battery pump provides the flexibility and control needed to dispense acid safely and efficiently. It is a practical and reliable solution for garages and similar facilities. The pump is also useful in many other industries where acid needs to be dispensed into narrow openings.

How to use the product
  1. If necessary, adjust the universal plug to fit the opening diameter of the container.
  2. Fully extend the telescopic feed tube.
  3. Insert the telescopic feed tube and the universal plug into the container and push them tightly in place.
  4. Close the stopcock on the discharge hose and close the shut-off valve.
  5. Position the discharge hose over the filling container.
  6. Actuate the pump ball and build up pressure. Liquid will now flow.
  7. Open the stopcock on the delivery hose.
  8. To stop filling, open the shut-off valve and release the excess pressure or close the stopcock on the discharge hose.
