Detailed information
The Novartos Multi 3-compartment sampler takes a triple multipoint sample from several pre-defined sampling zones. Depending on the length, four, seven or nine collection chambers are equipped with three sample inserts (accessories) each for the triple sampler.
Novartos pharmaceutical samplers can be used to take multiple unit-dose samples from one or more sampling points in a single sampling run.
Thanks to the intelligent design of these pharmaceutical samplers, it is not necessary to pierce the sample material several times for a multiple sample, thus largely avoiding segregation of the sample material. This is a particularly important requirement when taking very small quantities in the pharmaceutical industry.
With the Novartos sampler, a large number of samples can be taken quickly and easily, even from the same location, allowing representative retained samples to be taken.
The immersion depth of the sample lance is easy to read off the laser engraved depth scale. The rounded tip prevents scratching of the container. Two additional handles ensure safe insertion, fixation and rotation in the material. The precisely fitting inserts prevent mixing of materials and allow easy disassembly for thorough cleaning.
The electro-polished, grooveless surface of the pharmaceutical sampler and the high quality finish mean that there are no gaps for sample residue to collect in, which is also a key benefit for easy cleaning.
Typical application area of the product
The Novartos pharma sampler is a highly specialised sampler used primarily in the pharmaceutical industry to meet the strict requirements of FDA guidelines for unit dose sampling. However, the application is not limited to the pharmaceutical sector, but can also be used in the chemical industry, food and beverage industry, biotechnology, wherever the smallest quantities of powders need to be sampled in a representative way.
How to use the product
- Set the sampler to the "CLOSE" position at "1". The sampler is closed and can be inserted into the powder/granulate.
- Insert the sampler into the powder/granulate to the desired depth (the scale indicates the depth in cm).
- Move the sampler to the "OPEN" position at "1". The sampler is now open and is filled with sample.
- Move the sampler at "1" to the "CLOSE" position. The sampler is closed and the powder/granulate can be removed.
- If a second sample is to be taken, move the sampler to the "CLOSE" position at "2".
- Move the sampler at "2" to the "OPEN" position. The sampler is open and is filled with the second sample.
- Move the sampler at "2" to the "CLOSE" position. The sampler is closed and the powder/granulate can be removed.
- If a third sample is to be taken, move the sampler to the "CLOSE" position at "3".
- Move the sampler at "3" to the "OPEN" position. The sampler is open and is filled with the third sample.
- Move the sampler at "3" to the "CLOSE" position. The sampler is closed and the powder/granulate can be removed.
- Open the sampler and empty the sample onto an appropriately prepared surface or into a suitable collecting container.
