Detailed information
The core drill is the patented solution to the challenge of sampling bulk materials that tend to jam or stick due to their particle shape.
Compared to conventional multi-layer bulk samplers, the two-piece core drill has a gap-free design that prevents particles from tilting during sampling. This ensures professional and representative sampling through multiple layers, even with difficult powders and granules such as glass beads or metal powders.
Applications range from sampling from big bags to small containers, with the core sampler demonstrating its strengths in both laboratory and industrial applications.
For particularly dense materials, sampling can be aided by a rubber mallet which allows the core sampler rod to be inserted and removed. The core sampler can be easily disassembled for quick and thorough cleaning. The supplied fastening clip allows the drill rod to be quickly and easily locked into the sampling tube. The fixing clip supplied allows the drill rod to be quickly and easily locked into the sampling tube.
Typical application area of the product
The core drill is ideal for use in industries that work with difficult bulk materials, including the chemical, pharmaceutical and materials industries, as well as laboratory and industrial applications where accurate sampling is required. It is particularly suitable for taking core samples from caked, non-flowing or abrasive bulk materials that are difficult to sample without the appropriate tools.
How to use the product
- Insert the drill rod into the sample medium.
- Place the drill tube over the drill rod and insert it into the sample medium with a rotating movement.
- Insert the drill tube up to the centering ring of the drill rod.
- Hold the sampler on the drill rod and pull it out of the medium to be sampled.
- Open the sampler and empty the sample onto an appropriately prepared surface or container.
- After sampling, secure the drill pipe with a fastening clip if necessary, e.g. for horizontal sampling, transportation or storage.
- Core drill (consisting of drill rod and drill tube)
- Fastening clip
