Detectable spatula, blue

Detectable SteriPlast® spatulas, made of blue polystyrene, are produced in our class 7 clean room (10,000), individually packaged for disposable use and then sterilised by gamma rays.

As a result of the long, ergonomically-shaped, stable handle and a sharp blade, it is possible to even penetrate directly into containers such as paper or plastic sacks. Detectable spatula are ideal for sampling powders, granulates and pastes.

These samplers are not only coloured blue but also have a special additive in the material that makes them visible to metal detectors or X rays. These products can therefore be rejected with standard systems for checking for foreign objects, even though they are made of plastic.

Spoon spatula stainless steel Spoon spatula stainless steel

Spoon spatula stainless steel

The spatula-spoon can be used in many different applications. The double-sided multi-purpose spoon is a spoon on one side and a spatula on the other. This makes it possible to sample and process a variety of media such as powders, granulates, pastes and liquids. The spoon side of the spoon-spatula holds 4 ml or 11 ml respectively.

Manufactured from a single piece of stainless steel, the spoon-spatula has no edges, crevices or undercuts. Because of this, product residue or cleaning agents cannot be deposited and the possibility of cross-contamination or impurities is excluded. That makes the poly-spoon ideal for use in chemistry, the pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics and the food industry.

Spatula for foodstuffs, blue

The SteriPlast® spatula for foodstuffs, made of polystyrene, is produced in our class 7 clean room (10,000), individually packaged for disposable use and then sterilised by gamma rays.

As a result of the long, ergonomically-shaped, stable handle and a sharp blade, it is possible to even penetrate directly into containers such as paper or plastic sacks. The spatula for foodstuffs is ideal for sampling powders, granulates and pastes.

The shade of blue that is used does not occur in a natural form in foodstuffs. Because of this, blue products or parts of them can be quickly found and easily identified in a visual check if they are ever mixed into production.

The use of blue tools thus helps to meet the requirements of the HACCP hazard analysis and assessment in reference to foreign objects. This is an important criterion, especially in food processing and production and in the animal feed and pharmaceutical industry.
