The PowderProof® horizontal lance sampler adds flexibility to sampling in situations where access to the container from above is limited or undesirable. This sampler is ideal for sampling from bags or other packaging that can be pierced from the side. The horizontal lance allows accurate sampling of free flowing powders and granules.

The PowderProof® sampling lance is a field-proven, mobile yet electrically powered sampling solution specifically for powders and granules. Large sample quantities can be obtained in a very short time. The robust drive unit combined with an interchangeable lance and spiral conveyor allows flexible sampling from a variety of bulk materials, whether from drums, big bags or sacks.

With the PowderProof® sample collector, both target point and all-layer samples can be taken quickly and conveniently. This enables comprehensive quality control right from incoming goods inspection.

The lance tip is specially designed for good gliding and easy penetration into the material, even through narrow container openings.
Sample material is delivered through the lance directly into the sample container, preventing contamination of the sample. A comprehensive range of accessories enhances ease of use and safety during sampling.

The PowderProof® electric sampler is ideal for the food, pharmaceutical, chemical and agricultural industries where contamination-free sampling of bulk materials in large quantities is essential. From incoming quality control to research and development, PowderProof® provides a reliable solution for sampling free-flowing powders and granules up to 4mm in diameter.

How to use the product

Insert the lance adapter into the holder of the Bosch drive unit, insert the conveyor spiral into the lance, screw the lance onto the lance adapter using the union nut.
Insert the sample bag into the bag holding clamp, attach the bag holding clamp to the sample outlet.
Set the speed selector to 1 (low speed range) and press the on/off switch.
Insert the lance into the sample material, the sample material is conveyed by the lance directly into the sample bag.
To end sampling, release the on/off switch.
Pull the sampling lance out of the sample material.

Closure seal close-it food & pharma 95x95

In response to many requests from our customers, we have developed close-it food & pharma, a closure seal with an adhesive approved for foodstuffs. The adhesive strength of the adhesive is almost the same as the original, the tried and tested close-it from Bürkle. close-it food & pharma also prevents bulk goods from trickling out after sampling.

The adhesive complies with European food directives. Like the original, close-it food & pharma has an aluminium foil barrier layer. This makes close-it food & pharma suitable for sampling foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food supplements, even frozen goods - in short, anywhere where special purity is required.

Bags with the ”zipper” closure for storing, collecting, protecting and shipping of specimens, samples and sales products. Contents remain dust-free. The film is waterproof and has good tear resistance.

PowderProof® bottle holder

As an accessory to the PowderProof® system, the bottle basket provides the option of attaching a sample bottle directly to the PowderProof® sample lance. This allows the sample material to be transferred directly into a suitable sample bottle.

PowderProof® conveyor spirals

The PowderProof® conveyor spiral is a flexible accessory for the PowderProof® system, allowing efficient and accurate sampling of powders and granules.

Control seal close-it 95x95

Taking samples from sacks, boxes, bags, etc. with sampling lances is a common and time-proven practice. This produces holes through which easily flowing bulk goods could escape from the container. With the close-it seal, this can be prevented in an uncomplicated manner.

close-it has been especially developed for this purpose. The label has a sandwich-type structure (aluminium/paper) and seals the container hermetically (vapour barrier). This virtually prevents hygroscopic powders from clumping together.

The labels are available in different colours. With printing in red, blue, green, yellow, black or neutral (without printing in white).

close-it can be written on with ball-point pen, pencil or felt-tip marker.

The rear of the label is coated with a powerful adhesive. This means that close-it sticks firmly to most commercial containers, even to surfaces coated with fine powder, slightly moist or even frozen surfaces where conventional labels or adhesive tape will not stick.

Besides the individually detachable close-it and close-it food & pharma closure labels, our repeatedly tested and proven control seal is now also available on a continuous roller. This helps you discover whether you require only a small piece, for example for closing a small hole, or for marking a specific point. Or whether you want to repair a long crack or a large hole quickly, reliably and easily. With its extremely strong adhesive strength, close-it tape holds on the most diverse bases, where the glue effect of normal adhesive tape quickly reaches its maximum capacity.

For universal use, we have kept the adhesive tape close-it tape in white with tear-off lines. It can be labelled with permanent ink and locks gas-proof. Available in the classic close-it design, as well as close-it tape food & pharma, with a food-compatible adhesive.
